Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Mabel, operated by Arham Shah. By creating an account or using Mabel on the web or in our apps, you agree to them. If you use Mabel for an agency or company, you agree on its behalf and confirm you're allowed to.

1. What Mabel is

Mabel helps UGC creators get better at making short-form video. It includes a library for saving reference videos, transcripts and AI-written scripts, hook and pacing feedback on your own videos, virality checks, a Radar of trending videos, connections to your social accounts, and tools to post to those accounts. Features differ by plan and can change as we improve the product.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Mabel. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they must make any purchase.
Give accurate sign-up details and keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
One person per account. Don't share your login.
Tell us right away through the app if you think someone else has accessed your account.

3. Plans and billing

Plans. Mabel has Free, Creator, Pro, and Agency plans. An Agency plan uses the same limits as Pro. The limits for your plan are shown in the app.
No checkout yet. The app does not charge a card, start a free trial, or renew a subscription. Stripe, Apple, and Google are not processing Mabel payments, and we do not store a card number or the last four digits of one.
Who changes a plan. The studio owner can change a plan in Settings. There is no purchase to cancel in Apple or Google account settings.

4. Your content

"Your content" means videos, captions, scripts, notes and anything else you upload, create or save in Mabel.
You own your content. You give us a limited license to store, process, display and transmit it only to run Mabel for you. That includes sending script and analysis text to the configured AI provider, and posting to your accounts when you confirm a post. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backup copies that expire on their normal schedule.
We don't sell your content, and we don't use it to advertise.

5. Saving other people's videos

Mabel lets you save public videos from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other platforms so you can study them as reference. Those videos belong to their creators.

Use saved videos for your own study and inspiration only.
Don't re-upload, repost, sell or pass off anyone else's video as your own, and don't use Mabel to get around a platform's rules.
You're responsible for having the rights to anything you post through Mabel.
Saved reference videos may be removed from our servers after 14 days to save space, and re-downloaded when you open them. Transcripts and thumbnails stay.

6. Connected accounts and posting

You can connect your TikTok, Instagram and YouTube accounts. When you do, you allow Mabel to use the access described in our Privacy Policy, and that platform's own terms apply too.
Mabel posts only when you connect an account with posting permission and confirm each post. You choose the video, caption and hashtags. You're responsible for what you post, including brand disclosure tags such as #ad or a brand's partner tag.
You can disconnect an account at any time. Mabel never posts without your confirmation.
Platforms can change or limit their tools at any time. A platform may keep a post private, delay it, or reject it, and we can't guarantee a post will go out or perform a certain way.
YouTube connections use YouTube API Services, and by connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.
Disconnecting in Mabel deletes the saved login. Also remove Mabel in the platform's connected-apps settings. Posts already imported stay until you remove them in Posts.

7. AI features

Transcripts come from Whisper running on our own server, or from captions the platform already published. Scripts and analysis text go to the configured AI provider, Google Gemini or Anthropic. Mabel uses paid API access, and each provider's API data terms apply: Gemini API terms and Anthropic Commercial Terms. This output can be wrong or incomplete. It is a suggestion, not a guarantee, and Mabel does not promise any number of views, followers or brand deals.

8. Things you can't do

Don't use Mabel to:

break any law or anyone else's rights, including copyright;
post spam, or content that is hateful, harassing, sexual involving minors, or otherwise against the rules of the platform you post to;
scrape, copy or resell Mabel's data, including Radar results;
try to break, overload or get around Mabel's limits or security, or access another person's account;
reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first.

9. Copyright complaints

If you believe something on Mabel infringes your copyright, contact us through the app with the content's location, your work, your contact details, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized. We'll respond promptly and remove content where appropriate.

10. Ending your account

There is no control in Settings that deletes an account. To ask us to close your account and delete the data stored with it, contact us through the app. Deletion is described in the Privacy Policy. The app does not bill a subscription, so there is no Apple or Google subscription to cancel.

11. Disclaimers and limits

Mabel is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we don't make promises about uptime, accuracy or results. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you haven't paid anything. We aren't liable for indirect or lost-profit damages. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Mabel after that means you accept the new terms.
